President of AIIP since 2021 and now serving his second term, he is an entrepreneur at Mynet, a telecom operator founded in 1995, where he began as an employee and is now co-owner and CEO. Under his leadership, Mynet has surpassed 32,000 km of fiber optic network, serves over 18,000 business customers, and has a strong presence in Northern Italy, becoming the first operator in the world to commercially launch 50G-PON technology.

Active in AIIP since 2006, he has taken part in key AGCOM technical working groups, including the complex phase-out of the ATM network (“ATMosfera”) and the subsequent evolution of OPM architectures, always defending the interests of independent operators. Elected to the Board of Directors in 2013, he focused particularly on fiber infrastructure, participating in regulatory discussions and promoting a market that protects network duplication, infrastructure freedom, and technological pluralism to enhance quality and resilience.

He was the first, through AIIP, to raise at national level the need for full allocation of the 1200 MHz spectrum for next-generation Wi-Fi, and has actively supported FTTH terminal freedom on GPON networks and the defense of free software as a cornerstone of European digital sovereignty.
