Massimiliano Padula, Sociologist of Cultural and Communication Processes, is a Full Professor at the Pastoral Institute of the Pontifical Lateran University.
He also teaches Sociology of Organizations at the Faculty of Educational Sciences “Auxilium” in Rome. He occasionally collaborates with the daily newspaper Avvenire.
He hosted the program Felici e Connessi on the Tele Pace channel. He served as National President of AIART (Italian Association of Radio and Television Listeners) and of the Coordination of Communication Associations (Copercom). He was also a member of the Italian Ministerial Committee on Media and Minors.
He is the author of numerous articles in national and international journals, as well as several books. Among these are: Umanità mediale. Teoria sociale e prospettive educative (Ets, 2016, with F.
