Nicola Pasquino

Professor, University of Naples Federico II

Nicola Pasquino (Fulbright scholar 2000, PhD 2002) is a professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of the University of Naples Federico II, where he is the Director of the Electromagnetic Compatibility Laboratory. He is the Chair of the Technical Committee 106 “Human Exposure to Electromagnetic Fields” of the Italian Electrotechnical Committee.

His research interests include the methodologies for measuring human exposure to electromagnetic fields and characterizing next-generation mobile systems. In particular, in recent years, he has focused on scalar and vector methodologies for determining the maximum exposure levels generated by 5G systems, on characterizing the monitoring and control systems of the power radiated by Massive MIMO antennas, and on the impact of 5G signals on the performance of broadband probes.
